James I (1406-1437), Groat, Second Fleur-de-lis issue, Edinburgh, mm. cross pattée, lis on neck, saltire on shoulders, i at base of sceptre, lis and saltire stops, rev. three large and one small pellet in first quarter, lis in second, lis and annulet in third and three large and one small pellet with annulet in fourth quarter, lis and double annulet stops, 1.85g/8h (cf. SCBI 35, 663-4; S 5200). Hairline scratches both sides, otherwise nearly very fine (£150-200)
