The Strabane Infantry (County Tyrone) Officer’s Gorget c. 1794-1801, an extremely rare copper gilt example depicting the Royal Arms of Great Britain pre-1801 with ‘GR’ above the crown and a scroll at the base ‘Strabane Infantry’, approximately 50% original gilt remains and a small crack on the upper part of the frame just above the ‘R’ otherwise in sound condition £500-700

Note: This raising of the Strabane Infantry was 31st October 1796 a one company unit commanded by Captain James Hamilton.
