37th Foot Medal, a circular engraved medal with multi-stepped rim, 54mm, silver, obverse featuring the arms of the Duff family, hallmarks for Edinburgh 1840, the reverse inscribed ‘Presented by Sir Alexander Duff Colonel of the 37th. Regiment, to John Howard, Bugler, in Testimony of long and meritorious service for upwards of 30 Years in that Corps.’, with ornate loop and straight bar suspension, very fine £180-220
