The Light Division Centenary Medal was presented to all those who attended the Centenary Dinner, which was held at the Hotel Cecil, London, on 30 June 1908. H.R.H. the Duke of Connaught, Colonel-in-Chief of the Rifle Brigade, was the guest of honour; other notable guests included the Spanish Ambassador, the Portuguese Minister, and the Duke of Wellington.
