William Henry John Fullick was born in South Lambeth, in 1894, and attested for the East Surrey Regiment. He served with them during the Great War, before transferring to the Royal Engineers and seeing further action during the Third Afghan War. He was discharged on demobilization on 15 December 1919 (also entitled to the British War and Victory Medals and the Territorial Force War Medal). He died in Bermondsey, London, in 1944, aged 50.
