George St Julien Henderson was appointed Ensign in the 9th Regiment on 29 December 1843; Lieutenant, 22 December 1845, vice Simmons, killed in action at Ferozeshuhur. He served in the Sutlej campaign of 1845-46, including the battles of Ferozeshuhur and Sobraon, at which last he was wounded. He died in 1847.
