George Werran was born in Plymouth on 6 August 1896, and joined the Royal Marines on 1 September 1914. He joined H.M.S. Warspite on 5 April 1915, and served in her throughout the war, including the battle of Jutland. During the Second World War he was a Warrant Recruiter R.M. at Liverpool. Sold with copied record of service and other research.
