With copied m.i.c. which shows entry into France & Flanders on 16 August 1914.

George Percy Holland attested on 15 May 1911, aged 21 years 9 months. He served with the B.E.F. in France from 16 August 1914 to 14 March 1918, and in India from 17 September 1921 to 11 November 1929. Employed as a Farrier, 4/7th Dragoon Guards, he was discharged on 27 June 1930 and died on 2 July 1939, aged 50 years.

Trooper Holland’s Great War awards are all named to the 4th Dragoon Guards, not the 7th Dragoon Guards
