Crimea 1854-56, 1 clasp, Sebastopol, clasp detached from carriage on one side and backstrap detached from carriage on the other side (2923. Alexander. Ross. 93. Sutherland. Highlanders) Regimentally impressed naming; Turkish Crimea 1855, Sardinian issue, unnamed as issued, with later ‘Crimea-style’ silver bar suspension, edge bruising and contact marks, nearly very fine (2) £240-280

Alexander Ross served with the 93rd Sutherland Highlanders in the Crimea, and was severely wounded before Sebastopol on 29 July 1855.
