Bishan Singh served with Gordon’s Horse.

Gul Jahan Khan entered the Indian Army on 16 January 1905, and served during the Great War with Jacob’s Horse, and subsequently with the Mesopotamia Expeditionary Force from October 1917. He was promoted Jemadar on 11 April 1916, and Risaldar on 2 December 1917.
