Egypt and Sudan 1882-89, undated reverse, 3 clasps, El-Teb-Tamaai, The Nile 1884-85, Kirbekan (2502, Pte. J. Cameron, 1/Rl. Highrs) unofficial rivets between 1st and 2nd clasps, light pitting otherwise good very fine £240-280

James Cameron was born in Blackford, Perth, and attested for the 57th Brigade at Perth, in October 1880. The following month he was posted for service with the Royal Highlanders, and served with the Regiment in Egypt, November 1882 - April 1886 (clasp entitlement confirmed, also entitled to Khedive’s Star). He was discharged 15 October 1892, having served 12 years with the Colours.
