Pembroke Militia Artillery Officer’s Blue Cloth Helmet, a very scarce example, the standard blue cloth helmet complete with all gilt metal fittings, the helmet plate of Royal Arms pattern displays a short laurel scroll and bottom scroll ‘Pembroke Artillery’, the plate originally having a gilt wash has lost the majority of the gilt, the plate not original to the helmet, internally the helmet is complete with leather sweat band, crimson silk lining and retailed by Hawkes & Co., gilt loss to the ball finial and quadrant and slight surface wear to one area of the blue cloth otherwise good sound condition £400-500
