Kent Rifle Volunteers Officer’s Helmet Plate c. 1878-83, a very fine example in die stamped blackened silver plate with burnished highlights and of crowned Bath star pattern, in the centre a circle ‘Kent Rifle Volunteers’ enclosing the White Horse of Kent and Invicta scroll this with a backing of purple velvet, complete with three lug fasteners, a minor tear at the base of the crown otherwise very fine condition £80-120
