The 1st Somerset Militia Officer’s Waist Belt and Plate c. 1856-81, the 3.7 cm wide white leather belt and 1855 pattern clasp this with title circle ‘First Somerset Regt’ enclosing a gilt strung bugle horn, the belt with period crazing and discolouration, the central bugle horn lacking most gilt otherwise in sound condition with matching bench marks ‘6’
