69th (South Lincolnshire) Regiment of Foot, officer’s oval shoulder belt plate (Parkyn --) ‘69’ within silvered raised star on brass plate with beaded border, reverse with two hooks and two studs; and officer’s Grenadier Company fur cap plate, c.1826, with regimental honours for ‘Waterloo’, ‘Java’, and ‘India’, the first worn, the second lacking cross on top of the orb and with re-affixed loop to reverse, rare (2) £300-500

The battle honour ‘India’, as present on the plate, was granted to the 69th Foot on 13 April 1826, while the honour ‘Bourbon’, not present on the plate, was granted on 13 June 1826.
