Henry George Frost was born in Camberwell, Surrey, and attested there for the King’s Royal Rifle Corps. He served with the 16th Battalion during the Great War, and died of wounds on the Western Front on 27 September 1917, and is buried in Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium.

Sold together with a postcard photograph of the recipient, and one of his grave.
