Henry IV (1399-1413), Noble, type Ia, London, mm. cross pattée on rev. only, king in ship, crescent on rudder, four lis and three lions on side of ship, nails facing right, four quatrefoils on each castle, ropes 3-1, four pellets in first quarter of shield, one in the fourth, rev. h in centre of floreate cross, crowned lions in angles, 7.68g/11h (Schneider 190, same obv. die [= Blunt Ia, 5]; N 1336a; S 1705). Centrally struck on a full flan, obverse good very fine, reverse weakly and double struck in centre, otherwise very fine, very rare (£9,000-10,000)
