Blantyre Ploughing Society, an oval engraved silver award medal by D.C. Rait, ploughmen at work, each with a pair of horses, rev. engraved (Given by Captn. James Reid, Blantyre Lodge, First Prize, 1861, hallmarked Glasgow 1856, 75 x 50mm. Almost extremely fine, rare; set in floriated thick-rimmed collar, scroll suspension loop and ring (£70-100)
