Charles Oulton served as a Footman at Buckingham Palace, and was awarded the Royal Household Faithful Service Medal on 19 November 1952 whilst holding the appointment of Sergeant Footman. Promoted Palace Steward, he was awarded the Thirty Years Bar to his Faithful Service Medal on 19 November 1962, and the Royal Victorian Medal on 1 January 1963.
Sold together with the recipient’s Central Chancery certificate for the Royal Victorian Medal, in envelope.
