Thomas Courts Clinock was born in London in 1852 and served as Master in command of the Union Castle line’s S.S. Harlech Castle. He was presented with his Transport Medal by H.M. the King on 4 November 1903. He subsequently served in the Great War in the same line’s S.S. Balmoral Castle, and died in 1941.
