Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 5 clasps, Tugela Heights, Orange Free State, Relief of Ladysmith, Transvaal, Laing’s Nek (6565 Pte. F. Mulholland. Scottish Rifles.) very fine £100-140

Felix Mulholland was born in 1878 in Barony, Glasgow, and attested for the Cameron Highlanders at Glasgow on 15 September 1897. He transferred to the Scottish Rifles on 8 August 1899, and served with the 2nd Battalion in South Africa from 23 October 1899 until 27 May 1904 (also entitled to King’s South Africa Medal with two clasps). He transferred to the Army Reserve on 14 September 1904, and was discharged five years to the day later, after 12 years’ service.
