Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 3 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal (4918 Pte. J. Hutton, 37th. Coy. Imp: Yeo:) edge bruising, very fine £70-90

James Hutton was born in Stratton Audley, Oxfordshire, in 1871 and attested for the Imperial Yeomanry on 5 January 1900. He served in South Africa with the 37th (Buckinghamshire) Company, 10th Battalion Imperial Yeomanry from 11 February 1900 until 2 January 1901, and was discharged on 19 March 1901, after 1 year and 74 days’ service.
