India General Service 1895-1902, 1 clasp, Punjab Frontier 1897-98 (3770 Pte. A. G. Randell 11th Hussars) remnants of lacquer, good very fine £100-140

Arthur George Randell was born in Greenwich, Kent. He attested for the Corps of Hussars on 14 February 1894, and was posted for service with the 11th Hussars later the same month. He served with the Regiment in India, Egypt and South Africa (entitled to a Q.S.A. with ‘Transvaal’ and ‘South Africa 1902’ clasps). Discharged 13 February 1906, after 12 years service with the Colours. Re-engaged for service with the 8th Hussars, 19 April 1910. Served during the Great War with the 4th Hussars, in the French theatre of War, from 13 November 1914 (entitled to Silver War Badge). He died in London in 1948.
