Ernest Edmund William Titmas was born in London in November 1901 and entered the Royal Navy as a Boy 2nd Class in June 1918. His first seagoing appointment was in H.M.S. Ramillies in the period March 1919 to September 1921 and he was awarded his L.S. & G.C. Medal in December 1934; sold with copied service record.
