Robert Horace Anderson was born in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, on 11 September 1885 and attested for the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force at Windsor, Ontario, on 2 November 1914, having previously served in the Buckinghamshire Hussars.

William James Carter was born at Lavenham, Suffolk, and attested for the Suffolk Regiment at Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk. He served with the 12th Battalion during the Great War and was killed in action on the Western Front on 6 May 1917, during a night raid by two battalions of the 121st Brigade on the German position at La Vacquerie, off the Cambrai road, and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France.

Jesse Lipscombe was born in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, and enlisted there for the Royal West Kent Regiment. He served with the 7th Battalion during the Great War and was killed in action on the Western Front on 16 February 1917, and is buried in Blighty Valley Cemetery, France.

Charles Plumridge was born in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, on 5 June 1882 and attested for the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force on 14 July 1915. He served with the 52nd Canadian Infantry on the Western Front and was killed in action 31 May 1916, and is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium.
