Charles Parker was born at Lavenham, Suffolk, one of 14 children born to Arthur and Louisa Parker, and enlisted at Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, having previously served in the Militia for nine years. He served during the Great War with the 2nd Battalion Suffolk Regiment in France from 2 September 1914, and was killed in action on the Western Front on 11 June 1915. He is buried in Perth Cemetery (China Wall), Belgium.

Harry Parker was also born at Lavenham, Suffolk, one of 14 children born to Arthur and Louisa Parker, and enlisted at Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk. He served during the Great War with the 5th Battalion Suffolk Regiment in the Balkans from 10 August 1915, where he caught dysentery and died on 21 November 1915. He is buried in East Mudros Military Cemetery, Greece.

Benjamin Turner of Lavenham, Suffolk, served during the Great War with the Royal Fusiliers, and subsequently married Miss Norah Parker, the sister of Charles and Harry Parker.
