Pair: Bandsman O .E. Carroll, 5th Dragoon Guards, wounded and taken prisoner, 30 October 1914, he succumbed to his wounds whilst imprisoned in Germany, 15 December 1914

Oscar Ernest Yorke Carroll was born in Dublin, Ireland. He served during the Great War as a Bandsman with the 5th Dragoon Guards in the French theatre of war from 15 August 1914. He was wounded and taken prisoner at Messines, 30 October 1914. He died of his wounds whilst a prisoner of war, 15 December 1914, and is buried in Cologne Southern Cemetery.
