Chasty, 17th Lancers); King’s South Africa 1901-02, 2 clasps, South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902 (5177 Pte. F. Chasty, 17th Lancers); 1914-15 Star (4986 Pte. F. J. Chasty, R. Ir. Rif.); British War and Victory Medals (4986 Pte. F. J. Chasty, R. Ir. Rif.), the first two with occasional edge bruising and a little polished, nearly very fine, the remainder rather better (5) £160-180

Frederick J. Chasty arrived in France as a Private in the Royal Irish Rifles on 6 July 1915; he subsequently served in the Labour Corps and Army Service Corps.
