British Military Buttons, a good quality selection featuring three early excavated buttons of the 41st Regiment (War of 1812) - two officers small plated and one o/r large pewter (lacking shanks), a minute 41st pewter possibly for spatterdash use, later closed back gilt coatee buttons - two large and two small to the 41st, an o/r large pewter c. 1830 - 55, large gilt tunic to the 41st, a 23rd RWF gilt coatee c. 1840 - 55, large and small gilt coatees to the 43rd (both rubbed), later large and small tunic patterns to the 43rd, a large o/r pewter to the 69th, two small and one large to the 69th, a large gilt tunic to the 69th and a small brass tunic to the 69th, 1st Glamorgan Rifle Volunteers large gilt tunic and large white metal tunic, 3rd Glamorgan RV large and small white metal, a large plated tunic of the VBs, SWBs, two bronze and one white metal to the Glamorgan Imperial Yeomanry, a large gilding metal to the Montgomeryshire Yeomanry Cavalry and a large plated tunic Castlemartin Yeomanry Cavalry, three modern Mess dress - one large, two small to the SWBs featuring ‘24’ within laurels, good overall condition (37) £250-350
