Brecknockshire Rifle Volunteers Officer’s Pouch Belt Plates, Officer’s Glengarry Badge & Other Ranks Glengarry Badge, the first two of similar format, the first in die cast silver plate for Full Dress wear being a circular belt inscribed ‘Gwell Angau Na Chywilydd’ ‘Brecknock Rifle Volunteers’, in the voided centre the Prince of Wales’s crest and motto, three screw post fasteners, the second in die stamped bronze for Undress is of identical design, two screw post fasteners; the third in die stamped high quality silver plate displays a circular strap ‘1st (Brecknockshire) V.B.S.W. Borderers’, in the centre the Welsh Dragon on a torse on the regimantal motto, two loop fasteners; the fourth in die stamped white metal shows a crowned circular strap ‘Brecknockshire Volunteers’, in the centre the Prince of Wales’s crest and motto and the regimental motto, two loop fasteners, very good overall condition (4) £300-400
