The South Wales Borderers 4th Volunteer Battalion Officer’s Edwardian Period Helmet Plate, a very fine and scarce example in silver plate, crowned star background with laurel and Garter overlays, in the centre on a ground of black velvet gilt laurel sprays enclosing silver Dragon, double title scroll at the bottom, three loop fasteners, evidence that the centre has been re-affixed at some time otherwise very good condition £350-450
