Francis Clark was appointed Ensign, by purchase, in the 41st Foot, from the Royal Military College, on 11 April 1845; Lieutenant, 9 October 1846; exchanged to 24th Foot, 22 January 1847; Captain, by purchase, 26 December 1841; exchanged to 4th Foot, 12 May 1857; died 2 August 1859.
