Morbiducci, in bronze, harp, stamped prova, rev. hare on haunches right, head reverted, edge plain, 3.27g/6h (Brady, SNC June 1976, p.238, this specimen not listed; S –; DF –; KM. Pr. 4 variant). Some very light scuff marks in fields, otherwise virtually as struck with considerable original brilliance, extremely rare, very few specimens known £2,800-3,200

As with the previous lot, the precise numbers of pieces which exist are uncertain, although the best previously published estimates were by Brady in 1976. At that time, Brady knew of four bronze specimens; the two offered by DNW this year can be added to that figure
