Italy, International Exposition, Milan, 1906, a bronze plaque by O. Yencesse for the Comité Française, naked boy seated, decorating a vase, rev. Italian female with baskets stood in front of the Italian entrance to the Simplon Tunnel, from which a train exits, 71 x 52mm (cf. PBE 1030; Coll. R. Marx 163; BDM VI, 695; BM Acq. 1978-82, pl.51, 201; cf. DNW 50, 1265). Remains of old paper label by artist’s signature, otherwise very fine (£40-60)
