France, Bénédicité, 1926, a uniface bronze plaque by G.-H. Prud’homme, old woman seated in chair left, offering a prayer of thanks before eating soup from a bowl, 94 x 72mm (CGMP p.331; Classens 70; BM Acq. 1978-82, pl.44, 138; cf. DNW 47, 922). Remains of old label on back, otherwise good very fine, nicely patinated, rare (£40-60)
