Adams for Elkington & Co, ancient bowman and rifle volunteer standing side by side, rev. wreath, named (N.R.A. Cadet Trophy, 1933, 3rd Eton College, 119, I.G.D. de Teissier, C.A. Wynne-Jones), 57mm. Extremely fine; in original blue fitted case (£40-50)

Ivor Geoffrey Dykes de Teissier (b.1917), at Eton 1930-3, then King’s College, Cambridge; he was a Squadron-Leader in the RAFVR in World War 2.

73168 Lt Charles Alexander Wynne-Jones (1917-41), from Stalbridge, Dorset; at Eton 1930-5, then Royal Military College, Sandhurst. At the beginning of the War he was living at Dolgellau. He joined 1st Bn, King’s Royal Rifle Corps, but was killed on 7 April 1941 and is commemorated on the Alamein Memorial, Egypt
