One of the George V coins is engraved ‘11830 A. Holmes, C. of E, Coldstream Guards.’ 11830 Pte Albion Holmes, 3rd Bn, Coldstream Guards, from Douglas, Isle of Man, was killed in action on 28 June 1916, aged 28. He is buried at Ferme-Olivier Cemetery, Ypres. Further details are sold with the lot
