An 18th century gold enamelled posy ring, the exterior of the band with foliate detail highlighted in sky blue enamel (most of the enamel lacking), the interior bearing the posy ‘Not the value but my love’, and the maker’s mark ‘IC’ within an oblong stamp with trefoil terminals, ring size N, band width 3.2mm. £1500-2000
