Byzantine Coinage, Anonymous Folles (3), class A1, attributed to John I, Constantonople, 869-76, nimbate bust of Christ facing, holding book of gospels, rev. legend in four lines, 10.42g (Sear 1793); class A2, attributed to Basil II and Constantine VIII, Constantinople, 976-1025, similar, 9.84g (Sear 1813); class D, attributed to Constantine IX, 1050-60, Christ seated facing on throne, wearing nimbus cruciger, pallium and colobium, holding book of gospels, rev. legend in three lines, 11.34g (Sear 1836) [3]. Very fine and better, all with dark patina £150-200
