Henry V (1413-1422), Groat, class B1a, mm. cross pattée, ‘scowling’ bust, fleurs above crown, quatrefoil after henric, saltire stops, rev. small lis (?) after posvi, double saltire after tas, 2.99g/12h (Stewartby p.282; N 1386; S 1762). Small of flan, otherwise very fine with a strong portrait, very rare £600-800

The coins of class A and B, traditionally attributed to Henry V, are now thought to be from the light coinage of Henry IV, c. 1412-13 (Stewartby p.278ff)
