Andries Petrus Fourie served in the 3rd Battery, Transvaal Staats Artillerie, 1899-1902 and was present at Spion Kop, Tugela, Dundee, Ladysmith and in operations in the Ermelo and Standerton districts. At the time of his medal application he was serving with the South African Railway and Harbour Police at East London; sold with copied medal application form.
