The Most Honourable Order of the Bath Ceremonial Head Dress 1913, this extraordinary head dress constructed of pleated blue velvet with very wide and dished brim, the front of the brim turned up and embellished with an ornate gold lace panel, the edge of the brim trimmed with black ribbon, the inside of white silk and bearing trade label ‘W. Cater & Co., 56, Pall Mall, London, SW’, together with two examples of three plume egret feathers to be worn behind the turned up front brim. Together with various photographs of the hat, photograph of King George V in procession 1913 wearing the robes and hat. By repute this head dress was used only in 1913, very good condition (parcel) £500-700
