Fifeshire Volunteers 1802, an engraved silver medal with thistle decorated rim, 58mm. in diameter, Obv. an ornate crowned ‘GR’, with ‘Reward of Merit’ above and ‘Fifeshire Volunteers’ below; Rev. within a wreath of laurel, ‘Won by Ensign R. Wilkie, Best Shot with Ball at the Hundred Yards Target Practice 27th April 1802, with some faint partial Edinburgh? hallmarks, with ornate swivel ring suspension, some hairline cracks, very fine £260-300
