Indian Mutiny 1857-59, 2 clasps, Relief of Lucknow, Lucknow (Chas. Edmonds, 1st Bn. 23rd R.W. Fusrs.) slight edge bruising and contact marks, very fine £400-460

Charles Edmonds was born in Monmouth. A Labourer by occupation, he enlisted at Newport on 27 November 1854, aged 18 years. He was discharged due to impaired vision at Chatham on 12 July 1861. In addition to the above he had been awarded the Crimea Medal with clasp for Sebastopol and the Turkish Crimea Medal. With copied service papers.
