Hugh Parry Jones was born in Anglesey on 21 January 1893. Employed as a Purser’s Clerk, he enrolled into the R.N.V.R. in March 1917. Served on Defensively Armed Merchant Ships. With authority to wear document for the War and Mercantile Marine War Medals, with associated slip. Also with copied service paper and m.i.c. bearing his photograph.
