Star (645 L. Sjt., R. Highrs.) attempted erasure of ‘L.’; British War Medal 1914-20 (....., R. Highrs.) number and rank erased; Victory Medals (645 Cpl., R. Highrs.) attempted erasure of rank; Defence and War Medals, unnamed; Territorial Force Efficiency Medal, E.VII.R. (645 Piper, 7/R. Hdrs.), the 1914-15 Star; Victory Medal and Territorial Force Efficiency Medal all fitted with replacement straight bar suspensions, edge bruising, contact marks, fine and better (6) £140-180

Piper James Chisholm, 7th Battalion Royal Highlanders, was awarded the T.F.E.M. by A.O. 75, of 1910. As a Lance-Serjeant (Piper) he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 2 May 1915. Serjeant Chisholm was discharged due to sickness on 24 April 1916 and awarded the Silver War Badge (not with lot). Listed in ‘The Pipes of War’. With copied m.i.c. and S.W.B. roll extract.
