Private Clarence Frederick Keene, Dorset Yeomanry, entered the Egyptian theatre of war on 7 April 1915. Whilst serving with the Military Mounted Police, he died in Palestine on 19 October 1918, aged 23 years. He was buried in the Damascus Commonwealth War Cemetery. He was the son of George H. S. and Florence Shamer Keene. With copied m.i.c. and casualty details.
