William Corben enlisted on 3 May 1913. Serving with the 1/1 North Somerset Yeomary, he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 2 or 30 November 1914. Later served as a Battery Quartermaster Sergeant in the R.F.A. Discharged from the Labour Corps as a Corporal on 17 January 1919 due to sickness and awarded the Silver War Badge (not with lot). With copied m.i.c. (2) and copied roll extracts.
