The group of thirteen miniatures attributed to Major-General Sir William Western, K.C.M.G., C.B., Royal West Kent Regiment, comprising Order of St Michael & St George, silver-gilt and enamels; Order of the Bath (Military) gold and enamels; Egypt, 1 clasp, The Nile 1884-85; I.G.S. 1895, 1 clasp, Punjab Frontier 1897-98; Q.S.A., 3 clasps, O.F.S., Tvl., C.C., mounted in this order; K.S.A., 2 clasps; 1914-15 Star Trio, with M.I.D.; Order of the Nile, silver, gilt and enamels, with rosette; Order of the Crown of Italy, gold and enamels, with rosette; French Croix de Guerre, with palm; Khedive’s Star 1884-6, later court mounting, nearly very fine or better (13) £150-200
