Between May 1951 and April 1954, Ethiopia sent 5,000 men of the Imperial Bodyguard to fight in Korea as members of the Ethiopian Kagnew Battalions. Fighting in over 250 actions, 120 were killed and 536 were wounded in action. Sold with notes relating to the Ethiopian forces in Korea.
